Press Release 5/30/2013

IKF 4 Cycle Sprint Grand Nationals in McMinnville, Oregon

LO 206 BRIGGS COURTESY TECH

For the benefit of all competitors entered in the 2013 Four Cycle Sprint Grands, LO 206 class, a courtesy-tech inspection of your engine is available, if so desired. The IKF rules committee, in partnership with Briggs & Stratton, has gone to great lengths in an effort to promote close & affordable racing. To insure compliance with this sealed motor, a member of the Grand Nationals Tech Committee will be available July 15th through 17th to perform this check.

Cam-Profiling & Piston Pop-Out will be two of many compliance-related tests that each competitor should be aware of prior to the July 19th race.

Inspections done on any motor leading up to the actual LO 206 race does not constitute immunity to the normal examination process that is performed at each and every Grand National event, in post-race tech. Normal wear could adversely affect motors, so please take the time to carefully inspect each & every component so that a level of confidence is gained prior to racing.
